Fire Fighting Foam – Class A

Description

Highly effective foam concentrate used by fire services around Australia for control of Class A fires, predominantly used in fighting bush fires.  Very low environmental impact, it is fully biodegradable and can be successfully treated in biological waste water treatment systems.

Can be used with the following equipment:

• handline nozzles with low, medium or high foam expansion fittings
• portable or fixed inline proportioners, balanced pressure bladder tank proportioners and around pump proportioning systems
• CAF Systems
• Fixed wing aircraft
• Helicopter buckets

Can be used with fresh, salt, bore or brackish water.

Usage levels:

• Mopping Up   0.1 – 0.5%
• Bushfire/Ground Attack  0.3 – 0.5%
• Structural Fire   0.5 – 1.0%
• CAF Systems   0.3 – 0.5%
• Helicopter /Aircraft  0.3 – 0.5%
